I went to visit the great wall with my friends during the summer vacation. We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there.
It was hot and windy that day. There were thousands of people. When we saw a group of foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the great wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our english were exellent and we knew a lot about the great walls history. They thanked us a lot and we really had a good time. 英语周记 4On the New Years eve, I watched a movie with my friend. The movie was about conflicts and assassinations within a palace. Though the director had added lots of action scenes in the movie, it was still quite boring. After that, we went shopping in Wangfujing Street. The street was crowded and full of noise, with people rushing everywhere and bumping into one another. I never thought that going shopping on the New Years eve could be that tiring.

一大早我就高兴地喊：“过年了！过年了！”我的心情非常高兴，一溜烟跑到楼下给爷爷奶奶拜年。我祝他们新春快乐，笑口常开！
晚上，奶奶准备了一桌丰盛的晚餐：红烧肉、香喷喷的五花扣肉、美味的香肠……哦，还有我最喜欢吃的饺子！开饭了，我们一家人举起杯，互相祝福。
吃完饭后，我和弟弟玩起了烟花。弟弟点燃了烟花，“嗖”的.一声，射向天空，在空中绽放出五颜六色的光芒，红的、黄的、绿的……美丽的烟花映亮了新年的夜空，也映亮了高兴欢快的我们。
这一天，我玩得高兴、吃得开心，度过一个愉快的年三十。

过年还可以看春节联欢晚会。今年的春节联欢晚会里有个节目，就是有个人用手能做出各种动物和人的.头像：他先做出一只狗的头像，还做出一个人的头像在给狗喂食，狗还伸出舌头舔舔；然后又做出鸟妈妈给小鸟喂食的情景；最后还做出好几个人的头像，真是惟妙惟肖，我真想到幕后看个究竟。
过年也有它不好的地方，比如每天都要到外面吃饭，过完年一秤体重，长了不少，还要想办法减下来，真麻烦。
